I used my cellphone with a camera app called FxCamera. The app has several settings, toy camera, fisheye, polaroid, etc. I used the toy camera setting for this image. I think I’ll have  a lot of fun with this cellphone camera now.

I just bought some new gear and can’t wait for it to arrive so I can play with all my new toys. I bought the Canon 5D Mark II which has amazing files and shoots HD video. I’ll post some of my test stuff up here after the weekend (if I get the gear on Friday). I’m really excited to use the new gear for two weddings coming up in October.

I’ve been blogging for the East Valley Tribune as well. Check out the photography blog for our paper, infocus.freedomblogging.com. The title, InFocus, pays homage to a weekly photo package we used to run in the paper.

    well, there may not be much of a fire anymore. but i did get there in time to catch some firefighters still working. this was a large lot in chandler where palm trees caught fire and shut down access to the neighbors’ homes.
